Florida Eye Associates, a highly successful multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Melbourne, Florida, is seeking a fellowship-trained Medical Retina Specialist. Experienced physicians preferred, but fellows will also be considered. This opportunity is available due to the planned retirement of a longstanding partner. The incoming physician will step into an established retina patient base with immediate clinical demand and potential for even greater growth.

Clinical Research and Innovation

Florida Eye Associates has completed more than 60 retina-specific clinical trials. A qualified candidate may have the opportunity to serve as a principal investigator and help lead future research initiatives.

The incoming specialist will also have access to our thriving Valeda photobiomodulation program. Launched in 2025 as the first in the county, it has grown exponentially over the past year and continues to be in very high demand.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in medical retina
• Board certification
• Eligibility for an unrestricted Florida medical license
• Experience in clinical research is welcomed, but not required
