Description
Our International Student Internship Programme provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable practical experience while developing professional networks within one of these areas including Business Development, Financial Markets, Risk & Compliance and General Management.
As an Intern, you will be assigned to a specific business area, where you will gain hands-on exposure and develop a strong understanding of its operations. You will contribute to ongoing projects and support day-to-day activities, enabling you to build relevant industry skills.
You will be provided tailored training that will enhance your skills during your Internship and beyond. The duration of the full time Internship Programme is 3 to 6 months.
What you will do
Within Business Development, duties include:
- Support client relationship management by analysing client data, preparing proposals, and monitoring business processes
- Assist in promoting financial products and supporting credit and financing solutions
Within Financial Markets, duties include:
- Contribute to trading and investment decision-making processes
- Gather market intelligence, collate data, prepare research materials, and provide back-office trading support
Within Risk & Compliance, duties include:
- Assist in preparing risk analysis materials and researching regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Support client risk assessments, compliance reviews, and risk data analysis and reporting
Within General Management, duties include:
- Support internal management functions, including budgeting, financial analysis, recruitment, and training initiatives
- Perform administrative tasks and assist with project coordination
Requirements
- Penultimate year of degree
- Relevant degree including but not limited to Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management, Business, Mathematics and Statistics
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Eager to learn, proactive and self-motivated
- Commercial awareness
- Team player
