About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry's most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Your Role:

• You will manage a team whose role is ensuring that MOS deliverables are produced accurately and in accordance with risk management best practices.


• Lead and manage a Treasury Operations team responsible for the accurate and timely execution of client cash movements, investment funding, distributions, capital calls, internal transfers, invoice payments and other treasury-related transactions.


• Oversee the setup, maintenance, validation and governance of Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs), including new account openings, amendments, approvals and periodic reviews.


• Perform callbacks, review and approve payments, SSI setups, fraud risk alerts and high-value treasury transactions.


• Act as subject matter expert for treasury payment workflows, including wire processing, payment controls, approval matrixes, and maker-checker governance.


• Knowledge of SWIFT and ISO 20022 messaging standards such as MT101, MT103, MT202, MT940, pain.001, pacs.008 and related treasury messaging formats would be an advantage.


• Drive operational excellence through continuous process improvement, risk mitigation initiatives and implementation of industry best practices.


• Work with clients in a professional manner to resolve any open issues.


• Lead client onboarding and service implementation efforts, including treasury operating model design, bank account setup, payment workflow design and approval structures.


• Participate in client pitches, solution demonstrations, RFP responses, client visits and operational due diligence reviews.


• Collaborate with internal Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, Trade Operations, OTC Operations, Legal, Compliance and Technology teams to deliver integrated client solutions.


• Be the point of contact for your location and function, collaborating with respective leaders across the business to achieve collective goals.


• Establish, alongside AVPs and senior managers, team goals, performance objectives, resource planning and succession strategies.


• Ensure adherence to Global Best Practice Policies and provide leadership in all matters relating to treasury operational risk, payment security and incident management


• Co-ordinate internal SOC/audit requirements.


• Regularly review the existing processes and seek and implement operational efficiencies wherever possible.

About You:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative subjects with at least 5 years of working experience in Financial Services with strong background in Treasury Operations, Cash Management, Payments, Banking Operations.


• Demonstrate experience in leadership and team management.


• Strong understanding of wire processing, payment controls, SSI management, callback procedures and treasury operational risk.


• Experience working with global custodians, correspondent banks, transfer agents and paying agents.


• Knowledge of hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, mutual funds and institutional investment structures is desirable.


• Experience managing client onboarding, treasury operating model reviews and payment workflow design.


• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
