Description

Conduct detailed analytical research on major public debt issuers, primarily focusing on the real estate sector, including residential and commercial real estate and hotels.
Publish timely, high-quality research on market and sector-specific trends in debt capital markets.
Conduct analytical reviews with management teams of rated issuers and present findings and rating recommendations to rating committees.
Manage the allocated portfolio and ensure timely rating reviews and rating actions.
Communicate with investors, issuers, bankers, regulators and other market participants regarding rating rationales, analytical views and market trends.
Analyse companies’ strategic initiatives, competitive positioning, financial performance and industry dynamics to develop informed credit opinions.

Requirements

Experience: 5–7 years of experience in corporate credit or equity analysis, with exposure to Indian credit and financial markets.
Technical Skills:

Strong financial analysis, forecasting and credit assessment skills.
Ability to conduct peer and industry analysis and identify key credit drivers.
Ability to formulate independent credit opinions and prepare high-quality rating committee notes and reports.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively and interact effectively with corporate management teams, investors and other external stakeholders.
Professional Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, organised and capable of managing multiple assignments and prioritising work effectively.
