Job Description:

Job purpose

Candidate will join the Global Markets (GM) Infrastructure Services Floor Management / Occupancy team. The candidate will support GM in both routine trading floor support as well as project work including: onboarding / off-boarding employees; move coordination; day to day support of multiple trading floors.

Duties and responsibilities

  • General Responsibilities:
    • Onboarding and Off-boarding of employees
    • Maintenance of accurate seating plans
    • Management of telecom and desktop technology requests
    • Approver for after-hours work on Global Markets floors
    • Management of Market Data administration
    • Approver of Turret Direct Line requests

  • Business Management:
    • Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs, procedures and accounting practices
    • Liaison to HR, Legal, Compliance, Supervision, Corporate Security
    • Works closely with GBAM Campus Recruiting, i.e. Summer Interns and Campus Hires
    • Works closely with trading floor senior management
    • Provides informational assistance to all floor employees

  • Infrastructure Management
    • Interacts extensively with technology and telecom for problem resolution to ensure ongoing delivery of services and/or operations
    • Ensuring new hires and internal transfers have proper credentials for logging onto the system Day One
    • Coordination of trading floor move activity: planning, communication, and execution
    • Hardware management
    • Global Markets move and space management

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Communication Skills: Collaborate with co-workers, management, and clients. Candidate will need to be able to listen and communicate effectively
  • Attention to Detail
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to resolve conflicts and to keep tasks on track
  • Analytical Skills: Finding inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
  • Reliability and discretion: Candidate will often be subjected to confidential matters
  • Be a 'team player': Work may be shifted between teammates. Candidate will need to be flexible and open to learning new things
  • Good interpersonal and time management skills are a must
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office applications including (but not limited to) Word, Excel, PowerPoint
