About the Role
Join our Finance reporting team and gain hands-on experience in statutory reporting and analysing financial performance. You will contribute to strategic projects and work with stakeholders across Swiss Re's global portfolio of legal entities (e.g. service, real estate, investment, financing, and holding entities). This role offers the opportunity to combine finance, technology, and data analytics, while contributing to initiatives with real business impact.
Key responsibilities
Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages for assigned legal entities
Analyse financial data while building your understanding of Swiss Re's operations and financial performance
Collaborate with colleagues across different countries and functions
Support innovationinitiatives using automation, data analytics, and AI
Present findings and reporting outcomes to management and other stakeholders, including statutory auditors
Build practical experience with financial controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory reporting requirements in a global organization
About the Team
Our Bratislava-based Non-Technical Carriers Reporting team is responsible for end-to-end financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of Swiss Re entities around the world, with a focus on key hubs across Europe, the US, and Asia.

We are looking for candidates who:
Are currently pursuing a university degree (3rd to 5th year) in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Data Analytics, or a related field
Have an understanding or previous experience with accounting principles and financial statements
Enjoy analysing data, solving problems, and thinking critically
Are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Communicate effectively and enjoy collaborating with others
Have a good command of written and spoken English
Additional qualifications (nice to have):
Demonstrated interest in working with data through automation, AI, or modern reporting technologies, such as SAP, Power BI, Palantir Foundry, or similar
Knowledge of an additional European language, particularly German
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least 50% of working time.
For Slovakia the base salary for this position is 7 EUR / gross / hour. Please note limited benefits apply to student roles.
