About this role

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL

McLane Middleton, a leading New England-based law firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for our Manchester, New Hampshire or Woburn, Massachusetts office. This position reports directly to the Chair of the Real Estate Practice Group.

Why McLane Middleton

Founded in 1919, McLane Middleton is the largest full-service law firm in New Hampshire, with offices across New Hampshire and Massachusetts serving clients from individuals to large corporations. The firm and its attorneys are regularly recognized in Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA, and McLane Middleton was named New Hampshire’s 2026 Business of the Year in Business Services from Business NH Magazine.  Beyond the law, colleagues support more than 100 charitable organizations, and the firm's pro bono tradition is a point of real pride internally.

Join a team where your work spans a genuine variety of real estate matters, not just repetitive transactional work, and where paralegals are given real ownership over their files, mentorship from experienced attorneys, and room to grow within the practice.

What You'll Do

You'll work closely with attorneys across a broad range of matters, including:

  • Commercial and residential real estate transactions
  • Title searches and issuance of title insurance policies
  • Statewide land use research
  • Real estate matters within Trusts and Estates

You'll manage your own workload with a high degree of independence and will be expected to meet an annual billable hour goal, established upon hire.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
  • Minimum of five years' experience in real estate
  • NALA or NFPA certification preferred
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook) and experience with electronic file management software
  • Exceptional organizational, file management, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound judgment and professionalism, especially under pressure
  • Comfort handling confidential client information with discretion
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job. McLane Middleton reserves the right to revise job functions and duties as circumstances require.

McLane Middleton provides a salary range of $70,000–$110,000 for this position. Actual compensation is determined by individual performance, geographic location, experience, education, and other qualifications consistent with applicable law. This role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation; because incentive amounts can't be calculated in advance, the range above reflects McLane Middleton's good faith estimate of annual base salary. McLane Middleton is an equal opportunity employer.
